Sep 28, 2022 · I would say its drastically better because honda spent alot of time developing the type r. A slightly more powerful motor, chassis stiffness and suspension like you mentioned. All those components factor in alot in a cars performance. I do think you can upgrade an 8th gen to something similiar to a fd2’s performance. (Tune, swaybars, suspension)
