Jul 9, 2004 · I noticed in one of the episodes that Shinji has a logo of the band XTC on his T Shirt at the back of his neck. I wonder if that was in the storyboards or if one the animaters was a XTC fan and put it in for a laugh!

"Making Plans for Nigel" is a song by English rock band XTC, released by Virgin Records as the lead single from their 1979 album Drums and Wires. It was written by Colin Moulding , the band's bassist.
