The colony looked fantastic in pictures and I **ALMOST** didn't dip it before introducing it into my office nano. Thank GOD I dipped it because a 15 minute dip produced at least 20-30 euphyllia flat worms and 3 egg clutches found after I noticed all the flat worms.

Aug 29, 2021 · Euphyllia corals only require a moderate amount of light for photosynthesis and can grow well in the intermediate regions of your tank. Just about any reef LED lighting should be sufficient for most tanks. If shrinking, reduce white light intensity and get it off the sand bed which sand can irritate it.

Jul 29, 2024 · I'm not the only one with this problem--it seems R2R is absolutely inundated with threads on Euphyllia flesh bands receding, or Euphyllia heads retracted and eventually peeling off the skeleton (not even more severe problems like polyp bailout or BJD, just decline in flesh band followed by coral death).
