Students grades 3-12 participate in the PAL after-school and summer camp programs to explore athletics, academics, and future careers. Officers from ten law enforcement agencies mentor, tutor and coach kids throughout the year, breaking down barriers, and building mutual respect.

Since its reinstatement in 2016 after a 40-year hiatus, Erie Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL) restarted in one school with two officers and 35 students. Today, PAL involves 120 officers from ten law enforcement agencies, reaching 1,700 students in 27 schools and community centers.

PAL is led by a dedicated board and four full-time officers. With their direction, volunteer officers from agencies across Erie County bring to life an engaging after-school program and four summer camps each year.

Erie Police Athletic League has 750-800 youth actively in the program throughout the city of Erie. Erie Pal offers after-school programming year-round in 11 city of Erie Public Schools, Persues House Charter School, Booker T Washington Center, Erie Boys & Girls Club, St. Martins Center, Trinity Center and The Eagles Nest.
