Stone calls the Mecha Crab in front of Team Sonic. "Please, join me in the Crab." After their last battle against Team Sonic, Doctor Eggman and Stone hid in the Mecha Crab beneath the ocean, following Eggman's presumed death in front of the Guardian Units of Nations.

The Mecha Crab was created by Dr. Robotnik some time before the Project Shadow incident. After Emerald Eggman 's defeat in Green Hills , the doctor became a hermit, living undersea in the Crab alongside his assistant Agent Stone .

It is a mass-produced, crab-based Badnik created by Dr. Eggman. Crabmeats are slow-paced Badniks that are capable of shooting projectile balls or homing missiles from their pincers. Crabmeats, as their name implies, are inspired by real life crabs.

Crabmeat is an enemy from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. It has 3 variants in total. The standard variant is Red, with additional variants being Blue and Purple. Crabmeat made its first appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog (1991). It is a robot designed and created by Dr. Eggman.
