Echo Flowers are a type of flora found in Waterfall. They are named after their ability to repeat the last sounds they have been exposed to, similar to echoes, making them a potential lore device. Eventually, the sounds they emit become white noise.[1]

Flowey's message on an Echo Flower if Toriel was killed. Flowey also leaves a message on an Echo Flower in the vertical room before the bridge in Waterfall that changes if the protagonist spared or killed Toriel.

The Player called Toriel's Phone and walked to the end of the room while speaking to all the Echo Flowers. Then, the Player backtracked to the entrance of the room. Surprisingly, even though there was no cutscene, Flowey was visible for a brief moment next to the 2nd Echo Flower before disappearing. The Echo Flower had new dialogue.

Nov 22, 2015 · Flowey has lots of dialogue that he'll share with you each time you clear the Neutral ending. Eventually he suggests that you should make the "Flowey Fan Club" but then tells you to talk to Papyrus about it because Papyrus actually did this a few different times (before Flowey presumably reset).

This fish-like monster informs the protagonist of the Echo Flowers, which fill the marsh. If the protagonist speaks to the Echo Flower next to them before talking to them, the flower repeats their stating how they feel that explaining the Echo Flower is their only purpose.

Oct 24, 2022 · Just playing pacifist run and went to Grillby's with Sans, it goes dark and he talks about a flower that Papyrus says talks to him when no one else is there. That's Flowey right, or is it genuinely an echo flower.

It's pretty clear that the "talking flower" Sans refers to is Flowey, and not an echo flower. I interpreted this as a warning to the player about Flowey from Sans to be honest. I feel like "pretty weird huh?"

Flowey (Template:P) [1] is the first major character that the protagonist encounters in Undertale. Flowey serves as the main antagonist for the Neutral and True Pacifist routes, and can be considered a deuteragonist for the Genocide Route.

Jan 4, 2016 · did you know if you go back after reaching the end of the long echo flower room and talk to the second flower flowey left a message? What does it say? Is this from the pacifist route or genocide route?

Feb 18, 2021 · In Waterfall, you can see him for a split second near an echo flower. If you talk to the echo flower he was near, depending on whether you have killed or spared Toriel, Flowey will have left a message for you.
