I've been interested in drifting for years now, and have had a few skylines/200sx/MX5/blah blah and have done a few track days but never given skidding a fair shot.

Feb 24, 2020 · I've purchased BMW e46 330ci and I want to slide it (only track car). I would love to get into competition drifting... but the coilovers are done. I want a kit which will do the job for few years but at the same time won't make a hole in my budget. I've read many posts and articles about coilovers but I didn't get the answer.

Feb 10, 2019 · Well the 350z is gone. I have a big choice another e46 but one is 1999 4dr 328i and the other is a 2001 325ci convertible. Both are are manual. For a budget build and a reliable car, which would be a better build choice. Thanks for the opinion.

May 17, 2005 · Got a E46 330i Sport with a welder, CDV delete, lowered (just springs, but feels ok), and that's about it for now. I've never been a big fan of E36s for drifting despite people loving them, and it turns out I feel the same about this E46.

May 21, 2010 · price is the key factor, e36's are between 500 quid and 1500 quid but e46 325i are between 2000 to 5000 depending on year. so to that front cheaper to go e36 plus bits are mega cheaps. chunk has a e36 up for sale with a few bits to make drifting more fun and capable for 1500 aswell as the assortment of other e36 325 - 328's for sale on here.

Jan 30, 2016 · Ignore the above, a 330D will be fine for drifting wet or dry, you've got 350lbft standard ffs. I've got a 330i shitbox with at least 100lbft less and it's fine, in fact now I've changed to an auto diff and fitted wheels that dont weigh 10 …
