what's the best TV/monitor to lay flat for tabletop gaming?

Sep 10, 2020 · Concerning monitor size, if you’re using it for combat, and each square is 1 inch by 1 inch (standard size), you’re going to want it large enough to run whatever kind or combat you may want. You can find an online screen size calculator. From the calculator I found: 19 inch monitor is 16 inches by 9 inches. I think that’s quite small, narrow.

Dec 16, 2019 · Think of it as a digital battle mat. I bought a portable usb c monitor that fits in my gaming backpack and it works well flat on the table top. you can use mini's on top of the screen too though I do not.

Is a 32" display large enough for digital battlemap?
Dec 19, 2018 · Basically, the display is horizontal and connected to a laptop so you can display digital battlemaps using RealmWorks, Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, or just zooming a PDF to the appropriate scale. I'm leaning towards a 32" display for portability and storage between games.
