My first time through as a fire elementalist, I got Olgreb's, which killed the early game, but my level 8 and 9 spells were all utility (disjunction, death's door, Borg's Revivification).

They are chaotic good, so if the wish was a bit evil in nature, they might throw in a small curveball. The other genies however are another story.
