The RP350 has less amp models than the 500/360, and among the ones included in the RP350, too, I remember I liked the '77 Master and the Matchless. Imho they had a slightly better dynamic response than other amp models.

Jul 6, 2020 · The RP-20 and RP-21D were the last of the floor units DigiTech made with analog preamps. The dual distortion paths feature is fantastic and back then it was really impressive. If you like older DigiTech units the one to get is the GSP 2101. The 2112/2120 are also really great units as well, especially if you like the features of the RP-20/21D.

I really like the stomp-box layout feel of the G3 for tinkering, but at the end of the day I typically dial in some sounds (easily done with GUI) and play from presets so the RP360 is sticking around. Surprising to me as I've never cared for Digitech multi's - ever.

Feb 5, 2018 · Keep in mind that per DigiTech TR7 sounds are based on algorithms producing symmetrical fx where as the VV algorithms were designed to produce asymmetrical fx like an analog photo cell or Rotary would. That doesn't mean one is better or worse (I like the old DigiTech Hardwire pedals), but it is a different beast with a different circuit approach.
