I recently bought a 70s (ish) Dimarzio superdistortion, and spotted a similar aged PAF. I've yet to try the super distortion, but thought I'd ask the question of you guys in terms of your opinion of the older pickups like this?

All dimazrios have dimarzio stamped on the baseplates. Flip them over, they may even have a DP number that tells you the model. Some very early ones don’t have stamps.
