Apr 13, 2022 · I’m a newer follower but I’ve come to realize that it’s probably mostly fake. Recently there was a post here from there about how a seller wrote “100 dildos inside” or something like that on the box and people on here pointed out that that picture was from a viral tweet in 2016, not this Depop drama page.

May 20, 2024 · The thing is, people will still buy SHEIN things from Depop when it’s fully disclosed and priced fairly (this isn’t a judgy comment bc it keeps the stuff out of landfills)! But people don’t want to buy SHEIN under the guise that it’s a different/highly sought after brand

It also means that those clothes bought secondhand either from a thrift store or depop, are being saved from the landfill and are being given a new life. In the end, I also think there’s bigger problems in the world than a college student like me buying a few things from thrift stores to resell to make a little extra money.
