What is King Dedede exactly, and are there others of his species (Shadow Dedede and King D-Mind exist, but they seem to be his alternate universe counterparts specifically). Is/Was there a Royal Lineage of Dedede, from which he derives his kingship?

I think the same could be said for Meta Knight and Bandee but Dedede is just so popular I can't help but jump in and say something about him.

DeDeDe's got real powerful moves and a ton of armor on many of them so being aggressive and attacking head on can be rough and easily punishable. Projectile spamming against him can be countered and punished, to an extent, with his suction ability while his Gordo provides decent spacing and ledge guarding.

Mar 18, 2023 · 3DS is actually my favorite Dedede design, with Smash Bros being my absolute least favorite. Idk why, but I've disliked Smash Dedede for a very long time, and it's funny, because I think the majority of Kirby fans REALLY like him.
