  1. DSA FAL Para | Sniper's Hide Forum

Jul 9, 2003 · Re: DSA FAL Para still a ton of snow on the range so I zeroed it at 100 shot 1.5 inch group with American eagle 168 OTM,( 1 - 3 shot group only after Zero) then proceeded to engage steel out to 400 with the IOR 3x scope, I set the gas to 7 then backed it down 1 to 6.5, bolt locked back and expended the round 3 feet, I love the fact that I still have 6 adjustments left.

  2. FAL accuracy experiences | Page 2 | Sniper's Hide Forum

Jul 5, 2011 · Re: FAL accuracy experiences I've got a DSA SA58, and a DSA STG58. I love those guns. They're exactly what I wanted them to be: reliable, durable, eat-anything, accurate-enough battle rifles. I view them as the AK of the free world. I do not, however, view them as a …

  3. DSA FAL SA58 SPR | Sniper's Hide Forum

Mar 30, 2011 · re: dsa fal sa58 spr Remington Nickel plated brass, CCI Bench rest primers, 175 SMK, 42gr Varget, COL 2.800", 2540fps. the barrel was always good but it got really good shooting after about 400 rounds through it.

  4. Suppressed FAL | Sniper's Hide Forum

Jan 5, 2021 · Love the shorty FAL. Need to get the hider removed, barrel is 13.5”, but it pains me to send it back to DSA. It’ll have to happen soon as I just ordered another can and flash hider. Gas system is fully adjustable, and my understanding is there isn’t a problem suppressing them.

  5. FAL accuracy experiences | Sniper's Hide Forum

Jul 10, 2011 · The issue with FAL's is that some of the 'recent' barrel offerings out there haven't been too good. DSA Izzy pattern chrome lined tubes come to mind. Work the gun over and it should shoot like anything else. There's a lot of BS out there about FAL accuracy, the fundamentals are just as salient with an FAL as any other firearm.

  6. DSA Fal vs M1a | Sniper's Hide Forum

Dec 12, 2009 · I had 2 DSA fal's, they were better than the Belgium gun. The first was a heavy barrel gun that the barrel was cut to 16" with a vortex flash hider. The second was a STG-58 16" barrel with Austrian brake, metal forearms had to be changed. The important part about metric fal's, is when the barrel is 16", the gas port hole should

  7. D.S. Arms- Any experience?? - Sniper's Hide

Oct 26, 2009 · DSA makes great weapons and parts. I've owned a number of FAL's built on DSA receivers. They do make a fine FAL, but don't overlook one built by a competent 'smith or (my personal fave) the SAR48 or 4800 built by Imbel of Brazil (a licensed manufacturer of the FAL) and imported by Springfield Armory.

  8. Suppressors Barrel thread and pitch help - Sniper's Hide

May 24, 2002 · I have a DSA SA58 FAL OSW Rifle, a SBR chambered in .308. It has an 11 inch barrel and could do work as a flame thrower. I was wondering if a can might help this, as well as tame it a bit. I have no idea what thread is on the barrel tho. Anyone care to offer a guess?

  9. DSA FAL | Sniper's Hide Forum

Just picked up my first FAL and need a little help. I have been reading around that DSA makes a quality FAL. It is the SA58 Para with a folding stock. I only got one mag with it. How do I tell if I have the inch or metric mag? Any certain parts that I need to watch for wear/breakage? Where...

  10. DSA FN FAL rear sight removal | Sniper's Hide Forum

Nov 15, 2010 · Does anyone have any experience in removing a rear site from an FN FAL. Mine is the DSA variant. Looks like there is a screw on either side to remove and then just push out, just wanted to check to see if anyone has done it. Here are some pics
