Dec 2, 2020 · From factory the suspension is better than the DRZ and it has an extra 50cc (or 150cc if your comparing to a 300) Center of gravity is low and it has a "modern" aluminum frame all this for less than a DRZ.

Jul 8, 2021 · The DRZ has WAY more aftermarket farkles available, but the Honda will catch up soon. The Honda is more comfortable for all day riding for me. The new DRZ is going to be easily another $1500 more money then a new Honda. The new 300 rally has service intervals at 4K miles. It's so close, but I'd vote for the Honda.

Dec 16, 2024 · Drz400: More power, excellent for both on-road and off-road, durable build. For budget-conscious riders, the Crf300L provides great value with its lower price and good all-around performance. The Klx300 offers a bit more in terms of off-road capability for a slightly higher price.

One standout feature of the KLX300 SM is its fuel injection system, which provides power delivery and efficient fuel consumption. In contrast the DRZ400 SM uses a carbureted system.

Jun 15, 2021 · Looking back I can see the DRZ is almost as quick as the 650's and weighs around the same as the 250's. Plus has the same feel and seat height as the 250's. So yeah, I would say the DRZ is probably better suited for you.

Aug 27, 2021 · The DRZ is a great bike if you're more of a heavy metal type of guy, but with a 37" seat, massive suspension travel, it's not great on the highway even if it has more grunt than the KLX. The KLX otoh, has 6th gear and will probably cruise at about the same speed, but get there slower- and with a 35" seat you're less of a sail.

I’ve ridden both the drz400 and klx300, and in my opinion you’d probably be more comfortable on the drz. The drz does outperform on paper the KLX, but the design of the drz hasn’t changed in 20+ years. KLX has the advantage of 6 gears and Fuel Injection.

Feb 20, 2023 · DRZ is an older design that hasn’t changed in years. The pros of this mean that parts and mods are easy to come by and are cheap. If you like to tinker it’s a great bike.
