Most likely - DJI Fly app is a security risk, shares geolocation, images, videos, coordinates, with access to your personal data, files, images, videos, and more through an excessive amount of metadata about you and anywhere it is flown.

Sep 17, 2022 · Anyways, my DJI fly app runs nearly perfectly on my phone, small amount of lag on the live camera transmission feed but it is fully operational nonetheless. I was able to activate the drone, install latest firmware update to drone, bind controller to my account and also to drone, buy DJI care refresh, and everything else was done with no problems.

Mar 16, 2021 · It does not have a built it compass, so the dji fly app cannot determine your position in order to show you where you are comparing with the position of the drone( behind, in front, to the right or left). It's that little arrow on the app left corner. It's not an issue of you fly in VLOS. I hope I've made myself clear enough! [emoji2]

Nov 12, 2023 · Yes it's possible. There is a guy on YouTube that flew a dji spark with his quest 3. The lag was terrible it was so bad that you couldn't fly it properly. It may work better for newer model drones like a mini 2 on up.
