The Skald fights alongside his Viking brethren, and has the ability to augment his fighting skills by shouting the words of Bragi at his enemies. The words can be used to hurt an opponent outright, slow their progress, or to stop them in their tracks.

If you are leveling in the BGs there's no reason to do it alone, use a trial or two to help you out and get some extra OW loot. Eek, i havent leveled in BG's in over a year.

Skald is a support class rather than a pure soloer. If your only level 5 then some yellow con will be tough and OJ can be closer to red sometimes. If your that low u probably have very low battlesongs and low weapon skill.
