May 19, 2023 · DAF has launched a 660hp version of its flagship XG+ for the Australian market. Premiered at the Brisbane Truck Show, the truck features a 15-litre Cummins X15D engine, which has been christened PACCAR MX-15 in Australia.

May 26, 2023 · In a big surprise at the Brisbane Truck Show, DAF gave us our first look at the DAF XG+ 660. Due to launch locally in 2024, the XG+ 660 builds on the success of the New Generation DAF XG+, which won International Truck of the Year in Europe in 2022.

Jan 17, 2025 · It puts out 660hp (485kW) and 2360 lb/ft (3200Nm) of torque as opposed to the 550hp and 2050 lb/ft in the X-15 as it sits in a K220. The PX-15 is also lighter by 225kg and more fuel efficient than the X-15, we were told. The new PX-15 is mated to a ZF 16-speed TraXon auto transmission and Meritor 3.42 diffs.
