Crooked Lake is a lake that feeds the Crooked River. Located within Emmet County in the U.S. state of Michigan, it is the southwesternmost point of the recreational Inland Waterway. This watercourse uses locks to connect Crooked Lake with Lake Huron at Cheboygan.

Crooked Lake, located five miles north of Angola in Steuben County, Indiana, is one of 101 lakes in Indiana’s Northern Lakes Natural Area offering fishermen and boaters a virtual paradise. Named for its gourd-like “crookedness”, Crooked Lake is one of the largest of the lakes and covers 802 acres.

Crooked Lake is located in southwestern Clare County within the east central Lower Peninsula of Michigan. More specifically, it is in the village of Lake Station, just south of US 10 and approximately seven miles west of Clare (Fig.1). The lake is 264 acres in size with a maximum depth of 73 feet.
