Corrin is a playable character in Fire Emblem Fates and the protagonist of the game. As an Avatar, their name and appearance are customizable by the player. Corrin is a member of Nohrian and Hoshidan royalty, bearing a central role in the war between both kingdoms. Corrin starts the game as a Nohr Prince/Princess.

Corrin is a Hero who endured a difficult fate, being born a prince of Hoshido yet brought up believing he was a prince of Nohr. He was only a young child when he was stolen away to Nohr, and it wasn't until the war between Hoshido and Nohr began that he learned of his true origins.

The Nohr Prince and the Nohr Princess are a set of classes introduced in Fire Emblem Fates. The unique first-tier class of Corrin, Nohr Prince/Princess class serves as the Main Lord class in Fates. This class wields Swords and Dragonstones as its weapons of choice.

The Nohr Noble is the Nohrian promotion of the Nohr Prince/Princess class in Fire Emblem Fates. In Fire Emblem Warriors, only Female Corrin can promote into Nohr Noble, whereas Male Corrin promotes into Hoshido Noble instead.

In Birthright, Corrin is reviled in Nohr for their betrayal even as they side with Hoshido to dethrone King Garon. This has eased up somewhat come the end of the route, where King Leo and Camilla seek to help clear up any misconceptions about the Hoshidans.

Corrin, known in Japan as Kamui (カムイ), [e] is the player avatar and main protagonist, whose name, gender and appearance can be customized by the player. [3] They are a member of the Hoshidan royal family, but were kidnapped by King Garon of Nohr as an infant. [ 4 ]

Born in Hoshido and raised in Nohr, Corrin chose to seek peace and unite the two warring royal families. Corrin cares for both the Nohrian and Hoshidan royals. Kind and resolute, Corrin spent much of childhood locked away and so can be a bit naive at times.

As a Nohr Noble, Corrin can wield magical tomes and scrolls for a variety of magical attacks, and gains the skills Draconic Hex, which weakens the enemy considerably after a clash with Corrin, and Nohrian Trust, which lets Corrin use the skills of any person they're paired up with at the time.

At some point when the convergence caused by the evil alliance between Gristonne army led by King Oskar and Velezark's Outrealm demons occurred, Corrin is suddenly kidnapped and brainwashed by the former Nohr tactician turned traitor and one of Gristonne's recruited associates Iago.
