Aug 10, 2012 · I used Columbus,Nugget,& Cascade for flavor additions of 1.5oz each in 3 additions starting at 25 minutes. The remaining .5oz of each in a 1 week dry hop. It was a 6 gallon batch & tasted at least as good as any average craft IPA.

Dec 1, 2012 · Ok I blew off the Columbus APA and this is what I did today. I brewed a 2.5 gal batch of IPA with 6 lbs English 2 row, .25 lb crystal 20 and .5 lb honey. OG 1.072 Hop shedule was: 1oz Columbus 13.9 AA FWH 1oz Columbus 13.9 AA FO 1oz Citra 14.2 AA FO I will also dry hop this with 1-2 oz but still thinking on that. What do you guys recommend?

May 14, 2014 · Should be amazing. Trillium from Boston makes a great IPA - Congress street- that is all columbus and Galaxy according to one of the guys who is always there doing the growler fills. Uses both in the boil and both in the dry hop. I'm going to be brewing an IPA next weekend that is all Galaxy and columbus in boil and dry hopped with only Riwaka.

Mar 25, 2009 · I've done a 5.5G (into fermenter) batch IPA with single hop Galaxy. Malts were American 2-Row and Honey Malt. Most of the bittering from hop stand. This was easily the best IPA out of the past 10. I repeated this brew for 11G batch. Half of the batch was dry hopped with 6oz Galaxy only, and the other half was same amount .. 50/50 of Galaxy/Cascade.
