Aug 6, 2023 · Chimera was just fine for me with around 105% damage. Make sure to pack shatters against those balance bosses in case they throw up spirit shields, and make sure you’re buffing it enough. Use sharpened blades and spirit traps, don’t bother with feints. I’m using waterworks, with quad damage pet, and sky iron hasta. Damage is at 105.

Mar 22, 2011 · Yes, Hydra, Spectral Blast and Chimera are Balance spells and they DO benefit from Balance gear damage and accuracy boost. Those spells originate in Spirit and Elemental magic, but their combinations in Sorcery cause them to function as Balance magic.
