Dec 7, 2017 · CIH 9190's were a rebadged/red Steiger Tiger KP-525 Series IV. The same 1150 Cummins and the same 6 speed Allision Automatic w/ a 4 speed transfer case. I believe there was a total of 250 tractors made between all the extra-big frame (ST-450's,470's & 525/9190's) tractors. Only 15 or so of them being "factory" 9190's.

Mar 2, 2006 · The 9190 was a Case IH painted Tiger. There is a guy over in Jason and Jevan's area that has 2 of the Stieger tigers still running. Impressive tractors. The 9390 was the same as a 9370, 9380 with the N 14 set a 425 (I think.)

Apr 21, 2006 · Also found a brochure for CIH equipment from around 1986-90. It has the Case crabsteers painted red. It also has info and pics on the 9190. I have seen the green Steiger version around here but not the red CIH version. Has anybody else seen one or do you have pics? Aug 19, 2021 · IH sold its hay equip line to New Idea in the very early 80's. N.I. then made machines for IH, N.I., and Ford that were basically the same. IH did not have any Hesston made hay equipment. THAT came when Case and IH merged.
