  1. CRJ 200/700/900 Comparison : r/flying - Reddit

Apr 18, 2022 · 700: Slow due to having slats, but very nice flying airplane. Lands in "normal jet" fashion - slow power reduction 30-10, relatively larger flare at the end and fly the nosewheel on. Best landings for me came when actually slightly lowering the pitch attitude juuuuust before touchdown. Reduced roll rate verus the 200, but much more powerful.

  2. Is the bombardier crj700 safe? : r/fearofflying - Reddit

Dec 5, 2023 · CRJs are great reliable aircraft, I’m on them quite regularly, I also have a buddy in the maintenance side of the CRJ program, lots of cool stuff that goes into it and the level of care that Mitsubishi puts into it is insane, they are doing a fantastic job with the aircraft and I’ll continue to happily get on any CRJ model.

  3. Fly the ERJ or CRJ? : r/flying - Reddit

The CRJ requires you to handfly at least the beginning of it. Making the jump from a CRJ to a more automated aircraft is much easier than the other way around. Long story short, if you're looking to stay an FO and enjoy the regionals for awhile (lol) pick the ERJ. If you want career progression and quick movement choose the CRJ.

  4. Questions about the CRJ 700/900/1000 by Deltawings/AD : …

Mar 28, 2023 · The FMC is the XP default FMC but the real CRJ uses this type of FMC, is that correct? Is there anything that the CRJ 1000 does better than the 900, would it be a disadvantage to buy the 900? Is it possible to buy cheaper upgrades to the other versions when I already own one version? Thx EDIT: Bought the CRJ -900 now and it is a solid aircraft.

  5. crj-700? : r/fearofflying - Reddit

Mar 24, 2022 · The CRJ is perfectly safe. I flew the CRJ-200 for a number of years and the CRJ-700 is a much-improved version of the CRJ-200. Not only did I love flying the CRJ but it was also really really good in turbulence. I imagine the 700 will be good too but I can't say for sure because it does have a different wing.

  6. CRJ Landing Tips : r/flying - Reddit

I flew almost 3000 hours on the three CRJ variants. Pilots have a tendency to flare the 7/9 too much. My technique for consistent landings was to only increase the pitch by 3 degrees or so around 30 feet and start reducing power around 20 feet on the 700, 10 on the 900.

  7. How to import SimBrief flight plans info the CRJ FMS

Mar 17, 2021 · You’ll need to put the flight plan file in the Work folder for the CRJ. ^ C:/Users\taint\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\aerosoft-crj\work Then you’ll need to go flight plan page on the MCDU and put your arrival and departure ICAOs in the ROUTE section, not the origin and destination.

  8. CRJ 700 vs CRJ 900 : r/delta - Reddit

Apr 24, 2019 · The flights I’m looking at use either the CRJ 900 (operated by SkyWest) or the CRJ 700 (operated by GoJet). There will be two of us flying for for just a few days, so only carry-on luggage. I know the 900 is larger by a few seats, but that’s as far as my knowledge goes.

  9. Canadair Regional Jet 700 : r/americanairlines - Reddit

Dec 28, 2023 · Hi- I'm taking the CRJ-700 on American at the end of January, and ai want to know if my carry-on will fit. I know my Away Bigger Carry-on probably won't (22.7" x 15.4" x 9.6"), but I wonder about my regular Away Carry-on too.

  10. Aerosoft CRJ - STAB/MACH Trim - How to Use? : …

Mar 13, 2023 · Hello, I am unsure how Stab/Mach Trim are activated on the Aerosoft CRJ550/700. The manual says Stab Trim must be enabled first for Mach trim to work but pressing either of the two "STAB Trim channel engage" buttons does nothing. Pressing MACH Trim illuminates an orange "INOP" light, because STAB Trim is not enabled.
