May 9, 2023 · Couldn’t stomach the $300+ for stock so I went with the NICHE Starter Motor For 2005-2017 Honda CRF450X 31200-MEY-671 Motorcycle for about $50 on Amazon. It was a bit of work to get the old one out, (removed carb and cam chain tensioner) but eventually came free and the replacement fit perfectly.

2019 CRF450X or CRF450L ???? - CRF450L/RL - ThumperTalk
Jun 25, 2019 · If I could go back I would have a bought a wr450 or crf450x, 450L is a great bike but it cost at least 1k for aftermarket ecu and pipe, that would cover alot of tickets for a "fake" plated bike You pay extra for all the emissions crap, and then pay again to remove it, plus the extra weight My riding is 80% dirt 20% road

So you are saying that the stock CRF450R & CRF450X have different weight flywheels? The real question then is what total weight flywheel would be the best for a desert application?
CRF450X vs XR650R - ThumperTalk
Sep 16, 2008 · CRF450X: agile, flickable (well, for an enduro), snappy, quick, skittery above 70. XRR: torque monster off idle, pulls long in each gear, great 40-90 mph, ultra-ultra stable at high speed. I sold my XRR because it was just too heavy, and the suspension is just too dated. That's after adding a pumper carb and ESP full suspension tuning. It's ...
Gear Ratio question? - CRF450X - ThumperTalk
Feb 17, 2006 · The stock gearing on the CRF450X is 13/51. This setup is perfect if you are going to ride in the tight, technical stuff like the woods of back east or in the pacific north west. If you are going to ride in the desert where you encounter sand washes and long sections of 5th gear single track I believe that the X needs to be geared higher.
