Canadian Forces Station Foymount (CFS Foymount) was a military radar station in Foymount, Ontario, Canada, (part of Bonnechere Valley). RCAF Station Foymount was opened in 1952 as part of the Pinetree Line of NORAD radar stations.

Jul 10, 2010 · After it was determined the radars at CFS Falconbridge and CFS Lac St. Denis were powerful enough to cover Foymount(a)s existing territory, it was decided to close the Foymount station in October 1974. The radar towers and operations centre were dismantled and the remaining buildings sold.

Sep 19, 2013 · I've already been to what was once RCAF Station Foymount / CFS Foymount, but had no idea there was a nearby GATR site. That GATR site would be distinct from the RX and TX buildings of the 1950s which I've already seen. Clearly I need to take a quick trip!
