  1. Is the CBR500R really a good 1st bike? - Honda CBR 500 Riders …

Feb 13, 2014 · I have done quite a bit of research on choosing a first bike. I thought I settled in on a CBR500R. Looking at the quarter mile times I see 14.3 seconds; even the smaller CBR250R seems pretty quick at 16.11 seconds. The 240Z I once had was shown with a 17.1 sec quarter which I thought was...

  2. First Bike: CBR300 vs CBR500 - Honda CBR 500 Riders Forum

Sep 11, 2014 · The 500 felt very much like the 300 ergonomically but it also carried a fair amount more visual gravitas: The bigger twin-cylinder engine behind the fairing and the 120/160 tires (versus the 110/140 of the 300) makes it look like less of a beginner bike, if that makes sense.

  3. Cbr500r vs. Yamaha R3 - Honda CBR 500 Riders Forum

Jan 6, 2015 · That is to be expected from a high-strung engine like the R3. That's what separates the Ninja/R3 from the Honda 300/500. As a weekend rider, I want the high strung bike. Typical daily riders may opt for the 500. It takes a certain amount of energy to move any bike down the road against the force of the wind, regardless of engine size.

  4. CBR500R vs CBR650R - Honda CBR 500 Riders Forum

Jul 31, 2019 · It also gets pretty good fuel economy (50+ mpg) and is a nice "medium" seating position. More aggressive than the 500, but way more comfortable than the Fireblade. I actually think it would be easier to learn on than the 500 because it's less torquey and more "smooth." This assumes the weight difference isn't an issue for you.

  6. Help me chose: CBR500R or R3 | Honda CBR 500 Riders Forum

May 5, 2015 · The 500 has just enough power to be on the freeway hitting 80mph without feeling like the motor is going to blow. It's an overall bigger bike but not big to the point of it being a con. The 500 has nice styling and though may be not as flashy as the new R3, I personally would rather have a non flashy 417cc over a flashy 331cc.

  9. Rear brake issue - Honda CBR 500 Riders Forum

On my 2019 Honda CBR 500r's rear brake fluid reservoir the rubber gasket is like a bowl a deep bowl. It's not like any of the other gaskets I've seen on YouTube most of theirs is just a thin gasket for the top but this bowl is deep and when I opened it it was full of fluid and then there's also all the fluid around the outside of that bowl in ...
