Oct 29, 2010 · BRNO Model 5 (1966) - New Pics! Herewith my pics. The rifle is in AS NEW (Mint) condition. It was made by BRNO themselves (not CZ) IN 1966 and is almost 45 years old! Quite astonishing just how good this little gem is. In Europe it's a rare rifle but in USA it's like rocking horse sh1t. I paid £150 for it (slightly over $200 in your currency).

Sep 29, 2024 · I bought this rifle because I wanted/needed/had to have a BRNO. I knew nothing else about BRNO's till I got home and started digging. Turns out I scored a good one. Made in 1958, 2nd year of production. Deluxe Turkish walnut stock that has never been off the rifle. Solotherm 2.5x scope that has never been off. It's a keeper for sure.

Mar 31, 2010 · Hi there, I recently acquired a Brno Model 5 rifle, and I wonder if you might help me confirm the details on it. It has 'proof' marks of 57, with a serial number 00217. Does this mean my rifle was manufactured in 1957? I think the stock is beech with a checkered grip. Thank you for any help you can offer...
