Brave Earth (Tierra Valiente) is a living laboratory for regeneration. We are a self-sufficient community, regenerative farm, and healing arts center based in northern Costa Rica. Here amidst the jungle, thermal pools and cloud forest, we are exploring new and ancient ways of living.

Prayer . Rather than a traditional mission statement, we hold a prayer. Our prayer is to create an imprint of lived possibility in solidarity with all Life, in dialogue with the living planet, and in service to the collective transition.

Is Brave Earth available to reach by bus? Yes. Coming from La Fortuna, you would take the bus towards San Ramon/Ciudad Quesada via Chachagua and exit the next town past Chachagua called San Isidro De Peñas Blancas.

Jan 23, 2025 · Brave Earth is located between San Ramon and La Fortuna, nestled in between Arenal Volcano and the Children’s Eternal Rainforest, the largest reserve of protected wildlife in Costa Rica. As a living lab, we have experimented with different building modalities using AirCrete and materials sourced on the land including bamboo and adobe.
