Aug 10, 2015 · I use the Solo Huntr bow sling (minus the shoulder strap) with my Montana Bow Sling (using the hooks). This system works well for hiking, provides quick on and off access....all while protecting my strings and cams. I'm right handed and carry it on my left side. One of the most comfortable ways to carry it is with my hand on the bow grip.

Apr 8, 2019 · I will be doing archery this year for possibly moose (remote but possible) and definitely bear, elk and deer using a crossbow due to my shoulder surgeries. Looking for suggestions on bow slings sort of what Corey used for his compound bow in the Destination Elk V4 series. Anyone got ideas...

Jul 16, 2018 · -bow carrier on pack with quick release (i like the look of Eberlestock's quick release so you don't have to take the pack off your back)-Meat carrying ability (i like exo mountain for the ability to carry right against the frame and keep weight close). Jun 2, 2017 · Trying new broadheads is stressful! I am shooting a Mathews switchback xt at 70lbs. From the heads I am debating, does anyone have a strong opinion or experience ? I have never had any broadhead "fly like a field point" and I have tuned and had my bow tuned multiple times. Please don't suggest a newer bow as the old girl still slings arrows ...

Sep 2, 2005 · Thanks! The Montana Sling comes in 3 styles and either style can be had in brown or black. There is a 1" which is in the pics, a 1 1/4" due out in a couple weeks, and a Cobra style which has a sewn shoulderpad of 1 3/4" by about 13".

Aug 26, 2016 · You can change the tiller of the bow to accommodate a crawl without damaging the limbs. A long wood/glass recurve with the right tiller can usually handle smaller fixed crawls, but it is changing the tiller outside of optimal. This affects limb timing, and will at best make the bow louder, and more hand shocky. At worst it can damage the bow.
