The Central Tooling Department (CTD) is a vital component of the Machine Shop at BMTF. This department is equipped with a range of specialized tools, including three high-precision Jig Boring Machines, seven Lathe Machines, three Milling Machines, five Grinding Machines, and fourteen Tool Sharpening Machines.

Following the independence of Bangladesh, a remarkable journey started on February 11, 1979, with the official inauguration of the Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory (BMTF). This marked a crucial step in the nation's post-independence industrial development.

Our shoe molds consist of two parts — the insole and outsole. First, the outsole is prepped with color for a logo as well as a background color. The middle plate is closed with the colors added, and then raw rubber is placed into the mold.

The BMTF Galvanizing Shop is committed to strengthening and enhancing the durability of steel. Established in 2018, it holds special certification for its work. The shop boasts a spacious area of approximately 12,000 square feet and is staffed by highly skilled workers.
