Feb 13, 2016 · No: When taking Bisacodyl for constipation it is recommended that you avoid alcohol as it is known to inhibits digestion. Although not an absolute contraindication, alcohol does causes dehydration by increasing loss of fluid through urination. I would recommend avoiding it.

May 19, 2017 · Yes.: Docusate is a stool softener, bisacodyl is a stimulant laxative, miralax is a polyethylene glycol laxative. Other options would include magnesium citrate which is a liquid bottle sold over the counter, or milk of magnesia. Other consideration would be to work from the other end with an enema like a Fleets enema.
