Jan 20, 2024 · Is anyone here running a Bat Vesper action? If so how do you like it. I'm looking at the Vesper and the Defiance Ruckus. With the new Defiance pricing it makes these around the same price when nitrided. Also looks like unknown munitions has a nice hunter style DBM to go with the Vesper action.

Jun 14, 2013 · I'm pretty sure the Defiance is the only one with a standard Remington 700 foot print. The stiller is 1.400" and longer and the BAT is bigger as well. I would go Defiance but 1200.00 probably isn't going to get you there unless it's used.

Nov 17, 2010 · I'm sure BH will answer, just adding my fix to a tight tolerance BAT. Have a comp rifle that has an early BAT "M". Tolerances were held much tighter on the early actions. Halfway through my string of shots, the bolt would tighten in he raceways and be difficult to cycle. Heat was the culprit as the expansion caused the problem.
