I’d never get to put all that down on public roads. M340i you can really get to sing on the freeway. A non-M BMW sedan, however, I don’t think I would ever consider.

Apr 17, 2023 · The B58 in the 540i is plenty punchy, even for such a heavy car.... But in "spirited" driving scenarios, imo these are two vastly different cars.

Blackwing beats it for driver engagement. Stick shift is best in class (tied with a 991.2 GT3, which I also have). The BMW is a great car, but it's just a notch more boring and polished. The Blackwing is a bit of a hooligan. It's fun as hell. The traction management system is beyond anything BMW offers (and I've had a lot of BMWs).

Aug 23, 2023 · Other than the fixes done, ownership of the G30 has been a real treat. Probably the last conservatively pretty BMW. I'm sitting at 54K km (approx 33K miles). Definitely the best car I've owned, and I'll keep singing the praises of BMW's build quality on the G series cars. Truly the best compromise car IMO.

Mar 22, 2021 · All that said the B58 is better engine than the N54. While I miss the 6MT, the ZF8HP delivers that linear power so smoothly. BMW have done such a great job with the G30 and it is a joy to own something that is so well appointed and built. How has your experience been switching from the E92 to the G30?

Mar 8, 2023 · Ofc everyones gonna say the M5. This sub is either rich assholes that shit on other peoples cars or high school kids with their parents money that do the same. I say M5 if you can AFFORD THE M PARTS AND M MAINTENANCE because its a hell of a lot more expensive than normal bmw part prices and maintenance.

Sep 18, 2022 · r/bmw has nothing to do with the fact that bmw never made a m540, instead of getting so upset, research what we are saying and come to an honest conclusion. The baby m's use the most powerful engines of said models, for instance, m340=6 cylinder, x3m= 6 cylinder, x5m= 8 cylinder, m550= 8 cylinder.

I thought i saw one or 2 M540s on the road, i understand there is a 540 M sport but this would just be a stanard 540 with M package.
