Apr 2, 2005 · The B5 and B5.5 cars share alot with the Audis, both A4 and A6, but more A4. 1) It is built on a stretched A4 chasis and carries the designation B5 which is what the A4 is also built on. The Jetta IVs are built on the A4 platform and so is the Gold, TT, Bettle. Size wise, the Passst slots in between the A4 and A6.

Sep 26, 2007 · Given that we have a 1996 Audi A4, 2000 S4, 2001 Passat wagon, and 2002 A4 in the family, you can factor in my biases. I like the B5.5 interior and grille/front bumper design, but otherwise prefer the look of the B5 exterior.
