Jihad Azour (Arabic: جهاد أزعور; born 4 May 1966) is a Lebanese economist and politician who served as Lebanon's minister of finance under Fouad Saniora's government from 2005 to 2008. [1] He was a candidate for the 2022–2025 Lebanese presidential election .

The details of Azoury's birth are uncertain. According to one source, Azoury was born around 1873 in the village of Azour. [1] He studied in Paris at l’École des sciences politiques and later studied at the Ottoman civil service school in Constantinople. [2]
