Mar 2, 2021 · Avid tends to be "top of the pyramid" - the places that are looking for an Avid editor tend to want you just to cut and a little bit of audio. Premiere has taken over the mid market (from FCP7) due to the switch to FCPX (which is an excellent tool nevertheless.)
