Sep 16, 2022 · Artanis' units aren't really made to live long, and P3 shows that. Early units will die like crazy and it's harder to build up an army. You get better wave clear and base assault, but loose a robust army blob. I'd say it's the worst prestige, even worse than P0. P2 is a straight buff, IMO. It should be coupled with the Warp-in Speed Mastery.

Jul 17, 2022 · Artanis P1 upgrades his entire army for a pretty small downside. It dissuades you from making Dragoons and makes a lot of his kit very viable. Reavers will never run out of shots if you spec into CD reduction and Energy Regen. High Templar/Archons can melt waves with Psi Storm and snipe casters with feedback. Immortals become incredible tanks.

Apr 22, 2021 · My issue with Artanis for the most part is that his army units are expensive and fragile, and a lot of units have a large collision radius and slow movement (Archons, Dragoons, Reavers, Immortals, Tempests), and one half of your army is bodyblocking the other half and prevents them from participating in combat.

Artanis has bad wavevlear and can struggle with getting stacks if he's up against a ranged hero. Taking stacks at 1 also means he's a bit squishier and more vulnerable to being ganked. If you're against Artanis in the solo lane you want to clear the lane from range if you can and get value elsewhere while he tries to catch up.

Oct 17, 2023 · Artanis is a weak 1x1 char when you need to actually win it, so I would generally avoid playing him on Braxxis, unless you have last pick and you know the matchup. As for that table, it doesn't seem too accurate. E.g., qhira totally destroys artanis and there's no counterplay, yet it's listed as 50/50...

If you pick Artanis as a solo laner, you need to be able to soak and depush, often against solo laners with superior waveclear. AA stacking and swaps, while fun, don't help control the map. Amateur Opponent isn't just for BoE and bosses either. It takes out Zagara's hydra and Azmodan's lieutenants in one click and lets Artanis do merc camps fast.
