Jan 6, 2025 · Yes, EGP is the sole source of Armalite parts, my impression is they must be going out of business considering some of the "fire sale" products we have seen over the last year from Armalite $1300 AR10's!!! Craziness IMO. And you have to be careful with EGP their shipping is ridiculous and parts are steep but they are legit.

Sep 25, 2020 · Armalite bolts should only be used on Armalite style barrel extensions. And DPMS/SR25 style bolts on DPMS/SR25 extensions. I’m not sure about mixing in a DPMS carrier with an Armalite bolt or vice versa. The Armalite firing pin is smaller and has a smaller firing pin hole on the bolt face, so those parts definitely won’t interchange well.

Jan 15, 2011 · Armalite uses their own mag setup and currently, there is no aftermarket source for their mags. The mag cost for the Armalite pattern is a little more expensive than the DPMS platform (at roughly $30/mag when buying in bulk like a 5-pack), but the Armalite mags are 100% reliable and built to last a long time even with field use/abuse.

Feb 27, 2017 · Eagle Arms acquired the ArmaLite Inc. name from Elisco Tool & Machine in the Philippines and re-branded for their flagship lines under ArmaLite, then kept the Eagle Arms name for the economy line. My first AR-10 was the 24” T model and that witch shot 10rd groups of 168gr FGMM into 1/3rd MOA at 300yds, couldn’t believe it.

Apr 1, 2005 · Eagle Arms is the same company as ArmaLite, made on the same machines. Eagle is their economy marketed brand, no lifetime warranty (1 year I think), no chrome-line bore, stripped receivers available. You will never see a new "ArmaLite" branded stripped receiver for sale, they use the Eagle Arms brand for that.

Nov 5, 2020 · Westrom continued to develop the rifle with the use of low speed photography. Armalite was the first to use the longer buffer tube and H3 buffer, now KAC is doing it to their rifles. Armalite uses the longer gas system in their rifles, the first to do that as well. The AR-10 was/is in use with foreign countries and national police forces.

Jul 19, 2018 · All Armalite AR10 rifles can be had in AR10A or AR10B format. What you buddy got, was the B format, which uses Armalite AR10B magazines, and modified M14/M1A mags. The Armalite mags are dead nuts reliable, I would say more so than pretty much any others out there.

They figured out their own TDP long ago on how to make a .308 or .308-based cartridge work in the AR-10 receiver set size, with parts that actually hold up over time and in all conditions.

Dec 7, 2024 · There's another thread talking about the Armalite barrels at Aim Surplus for $89. 16" midlength 1:7 5r Nitrided. Seems like a great deal to me. I picked-up one of the $89 Armalite barrels at AIM last week and plan on comparing it to a very similar $66.00 barrel at B King's.
