The humble Altoids tin appears pretty regularly on peoples pedalboards. But there has to be some other solutions for keeping a handy stash of spare picks on your board. So show me your innovative pedalboard-mounted pick storage solutions! I want to see everything and anything that is different to an Altoids tin.

I'm addicted to peppermint Altoids and as a result have about 50 tins laying around. I've already used a bunch to store small items like paperclips, thumbtacks, exacto blades, etc. What do I do with the rest, can't bear to throw them away.

Dec 22, 2022 · I like altoids but now they have an icky aftertaste so these days I usually just drink water. If you're consuming as a habit then try to wait 5-10 more minutes before you pop one in. Procrastinating works wonders for me! Good luck, it stinks to waste sugar intake on something gone in 30 seconds.

I'm not sure about Altoids specifically, but there were a number of similarly sized tins that would have been readily available during that era. He might have started out doing the same thing with repurposed tobacco tins, cigarette tins, Band-Aid tins, etc.

This is random but I learned it today in a gastroenterology appointment. Peppermint oil is known to reduce gut spasms and reduce pain in the stomach and intestines. Altoids are literally named "curiously strong" for their high concentration of peppermint oil! So I think Altoids can be a form of low stakes self medicating For IBS! Who knew?

Jan 15, 2022 · First of all, I've never seen this style of amp before. In an actual altoids! That's crazy! Quirky, I tell you that. As for other suggestions. Blackstar fly 3. Small, battery powered and sounds fantastic. There's also the School of rock Jack Black Marshall MS2. That's also battery powered, but it doesn't sound great. I would go for Blackstar fly 3.
