Aug 4, 2023 · There is a way to save Alfira with the dark urge. Knock her unconscious while in the grove, another character shows up though and result is the same, but Alfira is alive. If you get Alfira to your camp and have a companion kill you before the rest. She'll still turn up dead. It wasn't you though. But you'll get a very specific encounter later on.

Aug 4, 2023 · Okay, I feel like Alfira was specifically designed as a character to be mean to. There's weird out of the blue dialog options with her, too. Instant fridge. Puts me off durge a bit really. Mind you, I dont even mind the dark urge blackout aspect. But don't have the PC kill a character that was JUST introduced like that. Just lazy writing.

Nov 30, 2023 · When Alfira turns up in camp reload the previous save. Go to the Grove and use non-lethal damage to knock out Alfira. A Dragonborn Bard named Quil will take her place and die instead. The following morning Alfira will be right as rain. There are a bunch of replacement characters in the game to substitute for characters you might kill.

Nov 11, 2023 · In theory, with the mod, you should get Quil instead of Alfira, and everything should play correctly! After all that fun hullabaloo, you can check on Alfira in her usual spot, and she should still be there, playing away. Enjoy your cake!
