Sep 21, 2018 · Perhaps I am making too many threads on Islamic scholars but....then again, perhaps Persia's most notable scientist deserves a thread.... Al-biruni is more or less the greatest scientist to come out of Persia. Did he have any groundbreaking discoveries???

Aug 15, 2014 · You mentioned al-Biruni on purpose, but why don't we take a look on aaallll the other Iranian figures too ? did all the other significant group of Iranian figures do it too? no . Yes, some famous Iranian figures made some Arabic works, but if we would have to compare them with all the others, then the writing of the Persian language would win .

In 1973's Al-Biruni International Congress in Pakistan, Dr Hussain Khan presented a paper in called "An Interpretation of Al-Biruni's Account of the Hindu Shahiyas of Kabul" which also confirmed the same findings.

I mean, why be constrained and confined by and bound to only one discipline? Why not be a more eclectic in at least overall character.
