AEK-918 submachine gun. Designers of the Kovrov Mechanical Plan! have developed the AEK-918 submachine gun with the balanced automatics recoil system (BARS), chambered for the 9×19 cartridge. The submachine gun is blowback-operated.

Versions chambered for 9mm Parabellum are called the AEK-918, but are otherwise identical for game purposes. The AEK-918G is almost identical to the AEK-918, but has some “Western-friendly” features, such as a 3-round burst setting and the ability to use the same magazines as the Heckler & Koch MP-5 as well as standard AEK-918 magazines.
