Jan 1, 1996 · The ASTM F 1001 standard has been embraced and used most by chemical protective clothing manufacturers to highlight advances in product chemical resistance. The ASTM F 1001 chemicals are also specified as the minimum battery for chemical resistance testing with the NFPA standards on chemical protective suits and garments.

This standard is issued under the fixed designation F1001; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year of original adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.
