Rename the file to "creative.rom" Make sure the 24 pin power connector is connected; Turn on the PSU (Don't start the PC!!!)

Right after hitting the power button, you should have the option to hit either F6 or F11 (not in front of my pc with an ASRock mobo atm). One will get you into the BIOS right away. The other will give you an option for BOOT settings but should have an option to go into set up/BIOS.

In the bios I set PBO Advanced settings PBO Limits to Motherboard, PBO Scaler to Auto, Curve Optimizer to negative 30, 30, 8, 30, 30, 30, Boost Override to 0, 50, 100, 200; and Thermal Throttle limit to Auto. I got OCCT errors in Core 2 down to -8, all others were ok at -30.

Mar 12, 2021 · Asrock and quick bios updates ? No ... I had to wait 3 months for AGESA 1.2.0.0 update on my B550 Extreme4. It's NOT a budget board either ... it's on the expensive side as far as B550 goes. Also fan control from bios is garbage imho. But its quite a good board for the money, just be aware of the flaws.
