Oct 10, 2019 · This is the first headphone AKG have made that doesnt sound thin and off in the timbre. In my opinion this is the first headphome that has managed to get closer to a closed HD650. It's not as resolving as the 650 and obviously has the closed cup colouration.

Jan 24, 2020 · Well, there are no painfully bright AKG headphones on my mind, and I'm treble sensitive as hell. The bass is accurate, midrange is accentuated, but it's not fatiguing. There aren't much warmth though, but critical listening shouldn't need much warmth. They are balanced nicely, and pretty great overall.

Jul 24, 2022 · Other than the terrible stock earpad that comes with the AKG k361/k371, I absolutely LOVE the k371. The tuning is perfectly Harman neutral, the build is light and comfortable, the cables are detachable, the foldable cups make it portable, The AKG k371 is easily one of the BEST closed-back headphones you can buy under the $200usd price tag.

Dec 21, 2021 · I'm a bit scared thou :D, because I saw few reviews that AKG K361 broke, because off it crappy build quality and I am scared if this would happen to me would I get a replacement, because they might say that it is my fault that I broke headphones :D I guess I'm just too overthinking about that maybe idk :d

Jan 26, 2022 · I'd say the AKG K371 is the better choice for fun listening, because the subbass is slightly boosted in comparison to the K361 and the midrange is a little more linear. Also the dip in the lower treble at around 3kHz isn't as pronounced on the K371 and the upper treble frequencies are a little more laid-back.

Nov 2, 2020 · My buddy picked up the senn 599 and I got the 560s. His are clearly lower emphasized and cost less and have similar imaging and soundstage. In my opinion the deeper 599 is more pleasing and immersive, while being 150 bucks. By this accord I’d pick the 371 over the 361 based on that alone, but I haven’t researched these as much as the senns.

Aug 17, 2020 · I also own the DT-770 80 and K371 (but not the K361). Your opinion on both are spot on. I kept the K371 for office use, and kept the 770 for the times when I need closed back at home.
