Jun 18, 2020 · Mw2 acr didn't really need anything but the red dot though. With good aim you basically didn't need FMJ to kill head glitchers. You didn't need silencer in that game and the FAMAS was better with silencer for that role anyways. It's hard to believe the ACR was the meta gun in mw3 when it probably wouldn't even be top 10 in mw2 lol.

Aug 3, 2012 · The ACR is so popular because it does well in most every category. It has little recoil, good for long range encounters. It has medium damage, good for mid-range encounters. And it has I decent fire rate, good for close range firefights. Those facts, coupled with the quick reload speed, and fast ADS time, make the ACR a very good weapon.

ACR is a top 3 gun in the game hands down, and for me it's number 1 or maybe number two depending on the connection. Negligible recoil at most distances in this game, extremely powerful, great sights, quick reload speed and great with a silencer.

Apr 3, 2012 · ACR does a bit more damage, SCAR-L is a bit faster (firing rate). ACR has an even recoil spread left to right (still kicks up), SCAR-L recoils up and to the right. ACR has a faster reload, The SCAR has a faster down speed from aiming down the sights. I personally prefer the ACR, but I mainly play hardcore mode.

Aug 23, 2023 · I was just basing it off the small magwell and magazine, which the ACR DMR has. Going back to the leaked images that showed the gun icons there was one ACR that had a really thin magwell and magazine. Edit: Looks like the gun I’m talking about is chambered in .480 Bushmaster, which I think is what we’re looking at in OPs pics.

The MW3 ACR was chambered in 6.8 SPC while the MW2 was in 5.56 NATO. That accounts for the difference in stopping power and recoil. 6.8 was a better round in general as it was designed to replace the 5.56

Feb 18, 2013 · I started playing MW3 the last couple weeks and the first thing I thought was "holy mother of shit the ACR is better than every gun in BO2 hands down'. The thing shreds, no kick, reloads instantly (with extended mags and silencer).

Mar 22, 2012 · What do you mean about "hipfiring well"? You're not going to be hipfiring at someone from a distance with an ACR. By aiming down the sights on an ACOG or Hybrid scope while scanning for enemies, you're going to have slightly limited peripheral vision, but you'll be able to get targets into your crosshairs more quickly when they do come into view.
