May 9, 2013 · I quickly noticed that there were parts for two different year model bikes 1985 and 1984 CR125. The main frame was from -84 but there where sub frame, airbox, swingarm, gas tank and plastics for both year model. I did quick mock up and found out that could build the bike looking like -84 or -85 from the parts or maybe even do both.

From my understanding it came with the atac valve system. ive never owned a 125 btw. so the seller said in 84 some had the atac some didn't. the manifold is there but i didn't check ...

Mar 3, 2007 · in my quest for an older yz125 i just came across a 84 cr125 in great shape for 650...how were these? If I can recall, at least for the 250's, they had lower end main bearing problems. They had plastic outer casings and you had too get them pushed out and replaced.

Apr 29, 2021 · Last week I jumped on a barn find off cr that’s been sitting for 20 years... after being ragged out first. old man in the middle of no where with a junk yard full of bikes. picked it up because the crank turns freely and it does seem to go into gear (couldn’t find neutral though) .
