Dec 6, 2022 · I can say the friend whose GT4 failed shortly after delivery is an OCD type long-term Porsche owner, and actually described to an email group we were both part of how he broke it in. He went well beyond the suggested RPM restrictions, it wasn't abused or tracked or even fully rev'd out. It just failed. I believe his new engine has been fine.

These wonderful cars are not going to be around much longer, and those that are around will probably be depreciation proof.
