Nov 14, 2019 · So here's my 30 Herrett. It is a 10" barrel with a slow twist of 1:14" and fitted with a vented extension of 7" that's threaded and pinned, wearing custom furniture that is made from spalted sycamore (forearm) and burly maple (buttstock). Whaddaya think?

Dec 29, 2017 · For what you want the 7 is a better bet, there are at least 3 varieties of 30 Herrett chamber/barrel and only one is an easy cast project. Pick a mold for the 7mm from a custom maker, blow out some 223 brass and put those new dies to work.

Nov 19, 2002 · Shorter barrels would go to the .30 Herret and longer barrels would go to the 7-30 Waters. The .30 Herret is a roll your own, as you probably know and the 7-30 Waters can be purchased accross the counter.

Jun 15, 2022 · Just recently found out about the 7mm INT-R.. It's a very interesting cartridge.. looks like a 7mm-herrett. Bought a set of Dies.. Now , need to rechamber one of my 7tcu barrels..... Used to be pretty well like round for silhouette shooting. It and the 7mm Waters seem to be great rounds. Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.
